Watch as Gemma completes her journey along the River Thames from Hampton Court Palace to the Thames Barrier. You can look at the map below to see how far she has been.

Best viewed by clicking ‘Larger Map’ and exploring with Google Earth.

As she walks, Gemma will record what she notices using data collection website Daytum. She is hoping for more swans than nose blows and very few airplanes, if at all possible.

Have a look at a sunny selection of photographs from the walks by clicking on the sign below. These images begin at Hampton Court and show sets all along the river until Lambeth Bridge. Note the greenery, the secret spots with no other walkers and the clear blue sky!

Here’s a selection of images taken from Westminster as the walks continue towards their final destination: the Thames Barrier. In central London, the photographs contain bridges, tourists and more pigeons than you could shake a peaceful stick at.
