Final post

7 Nov

And now the project is complete. I’ve walked miles, discovered so many delightful parts of the city (Hammersmith Village? Who knew!) as well as some dodgy ones (I won’t be going back to Barnes in a hurry). I’ve met some strangers and spent some quality time alone watching the changing shape of the river. It’s reminded me how much London has to offer, and that the quiet or peaceful moments are really never that far away.

The website will remain online so please continue to explore and comment on the pieces. In the meantime, we’re going to develop a legacy website which will provide a permanent home for the work. It will be available to view in early 2012. Watch this space!

Thanks to everyone who supported me, all my collaborators, and my fair readers.

Happy walking. Go now. Go and explore.

I’ve only just found your site, but what on earth is wrong with Barnes? Seems a perfectly nice place to me…

I have been back since & agree—it’s a lovely place. I must have visited on a bad day! Gemma
